After completing the Master's program at Keio University, joined a major electronics manufacturer. Researched bipedal walking robots during graduate school, and worked on power electronics R&D for wireless power transfer and high-speed rail.

Ph.D. and Project Assistant Professor at Keio University
Enrolled in and completed early the doctoral program at Keio University while employed. After leaving the electronics manufacturer, served as a project assistant professor, conducting R&D on power electronics and Real Haptics technology for teleoperated robots.

Founded a Robotics Startup
Founded a startup based on Keio University's Real Haptics technology. Designed a remote fishing robot, secured intellectual property, and led commercialization.

CTO at a US Startup
Served as CTO at a US-based startup. Developed a sports viewing app using image processing and Vision Language Models.

Established Shimmyo Laboratory LLC in July 2023, working full-time since March 2024. Provides contract R&D in data science, image processing, AI, and LLM/VLM, while developing GeMM as an in-house product.
